Review Asus P8H67-M LX

If you usually focus on Asus motherboard with the feature "wow", this time Asus is targeting the segment much simpler.

Rear panel simply represents simplicity offered. What is striking is the audio port using only three ports only. By using additional connection mode support 8 channels will still be had. This was coupled with no inclusion of USB 3.0 ports.

Nonetheless, Asus includes up to 14 USB 2.0 ports. HDMI port was eliminated. With it, the Asus P8H67-M LX are more suitable for you who want to build a non-HTPC system.

Although simple components, Asus still gives his typical supporting facilities such as MemOK complete compatibility to optimize memory usage.

Interestingly there are Anti-Surge Protection feature that is useful to prevent damage to the motherboard (or other components) due to PLN's power supply voltage is unstable. If overvoltage occurs suddenly, the chip will trigger the system to perform automatic shutdown.

Intel Chipset H67 allows users to overclock the onboard graphics chip. Well ASUS provides convenience by providing a user-friendly interface with the name GPU Boost. Boost your GPU could switch from Asus EFI menu. Asus uses the Asus display EFI BIOS replacement that is a modification of the UEFI.
